How to write a Limit Cheque when you order by post. . .
It really helps us if you can send a 'limit cheque'. This is a perfectly normal & secure way to do it.
We try not to run out of anything - it's infuriating to order stuff and then not get it.
But if we do, and you haven't indicated an alternative, we can just fill in the correct amount, rather than having to send you a credit note or refund.
-
Write 'Not more than £xxx' - the total if everything you want is in stock.(this makes an 'upper limit' to your cheque)
-
Leave the figures box blank and we will put the actual total in. We can't fill it in for more than your limit in words.
-
And don't forget to date & sign it.
That's it. Doing this saves the Collection 70p writing you a refund cheque if something isn't available, leaving more funds available for trialling new varieties. Thanks!
