We've got two really good new varieties on the winter squash page. Sibley is a really tasty long keeping squash, ideal for winter soups and stews. Winter Luxury (pictured above) is a traditional jack o'lantern style pumpkin, but unlike many Halloween varieties, it's also delicious and ideal for pies and roasting.

Chengeloy cucumber has a thin dark green skin, and is very productive, making endless fruits over a good long season.

Yellow Monster sweet pepper is a giant bell variety ripening to a bright sunshine yellow. We've also got a new bright, bright yellow courgette to cheer up your plot - Burpee's Golden Zucchini. And continuing the yellow theme, Lutea is a crunchy yellow skinned salad radish that can be harvested over a longer period than average.

If you enjoy growing herbs, we've got some interesting new ones to try. Pipiche, sometimes called Mexican Coriander, is a very pretty little plant, perfect for a herb or flower border. The leaves have a fresh citrussy flavour, and later in the season it makes lots of decorative, unusually shaped purple flowers. We're also pleased to have a new lemon scented strain of traditional coriander.

Dwarf fantasy mix is a new addition to our page of edible flowers. It's a very pretty mix of short sunflowers, ideal for a flower border. The seeds are edible or can also be left for the birds to enjoy.

As well as the seeds, we're also delighted to be able to offer a new seedsaving DVD set. Ideal as a Christmas present for keen gardeners, and also perfect for gardening groups and Transition towns.
